IRX Qualified Hardware Accelerator
The IRX qualified hardware rendering accelerator is essentially a hardware pixel processor IC. It implements some of the pixel shading and post processing functions in the traditional graphic rendering pipeline through hardware circuits. Comparing with software-based pixel processing executing on GPU, the hardware pixel processor offers much higher parallelism of pixel rendering with significantly reduced latency and power consumption of per pixel processing. By integrating this hardware pixel processor with CPU/GPU, the system-level pixel rendering capability can be boosted by up to 20+ times.

IRX Rendering Acceleration Device SDK
The IRX rendering acceleration SDKs bridge game content with hardware accelerators. The software solution consists of device SDK and content SDK, which are respectively licensed to device manufacturers and content developers. By integrating the IRX device SDK, mobile devices are granting IRX-certified application programs to access the computing resources from the hardware accelerator and deliver experiences based on multiple times of rendering capability with improved system-level power efficiency. The inter-operability and technical compatibility between devices and contents are also managed by the IRX Device SDK through close collaboration with IRX content SDK to ensure optimized experiences are achieved on each pair of IRX certified device and content.

Device Tuning Service

To help IRX certified devices delivering optimized experiences on popular game titles, a device tuning service is provided to mobile OEMs. For most popular games of selected regions, rendering acceleration parameters are individually tuned based on specific model of hardware accelerator.

implement IRX device SDK and pass IRX-related functional and performance certification tests.
IRX certification enables mobile manufacturers to deliver IRX gaming experience by enabling IRX mode on IRX certified game content and
access to IRX device tuning services for the top games of designated regions.
